The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7 lbs., is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore with larger pistons for enhanced performance. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston configuration further enhances braking effectiveness. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with options for cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Evolution 8/9 models, providing a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade.
