SuperComp Caliper

This advanced brake system utilizes cutting-edge technology to significantly reduce brake fade and actively refreshes the brake pad surface during intense braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a highlight of this kit, precision-machined from aircraft quality billet. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, enhancing braking performance. The caliper itself weighs just over 7lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features across all Ksport calipers include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design fundamentally improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock configurations, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems incorporate a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. Each rotor is meticulously heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. For vehicles experiencing more track use than daily driving, slotted rotors like those included are recommended, whereas cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily driven vehicles.
