The Ksport SuperComp big brake kit delivers ultimate stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad performance under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper itself is a testament to high-performance engineering, machined from aircraft-quality billet and featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series. Weighing just over 7 lbs each, these calipers include integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper utilizes four brake pads to maximize performance. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor efficiently expels gas and pad debris while reducing braking noise. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with slotted rotors recommended for track use and cross-drilled rotors for daily driving.
