SuperComp Caliper

The SuperComp caliper, a standout component of this kit, is machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighs just over 7lbs, and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, enhancing pad longevity and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. For increased performance, SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and its floating nature prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The components are constructed with precision: calipers from aircraft-quality billet, hats from machined aluminum, and brackets from carbon steel, ensuring durability and performance. The rotors feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly which is recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving, although cross-drilled rotors (which run cooler) are recommended for daily driven vehicles.
