This advanced system integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually refreshes the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a highlight of this kit, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. Rotors feature a unique slot design to minimize braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris, enhancing performance and longevity. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment to ensure optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation) and slotted rotors (recommended for track use).
