SuperComp Caliper

This kit features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to Ksport's Procomp series, along with increased piston size and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, while aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals contribute to superior heat management and consistent operation. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Ksport's D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. For the rotors, you can choose between slotted or cross-drilled designs; slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their ability to expel gas and debris more effectively, while cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are advised for daily driven vehicles. The SuperComp systems come standard with 2-piece floating disc assemblies that reduce rotational and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stress-induced warping of the disc or braking surface.
