This advanced system integrates new brake technology for superior performance and a more responsive feel. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of lightweight engineering, crafted from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over seven pounds. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, improving pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances overall brake system effectiveness. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. The unique rotor slot design is optimized to minimize braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris, contributing to consistent performance. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with slotted rotors recommended for track use due to their superior cooling and debris expulsion compared to cross-drilled rotors. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent brake feel.
