The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power, engineered with advanced technology to minimize brake fade and enhance cooling for your brake pads. The SuperComp caliper itself is a standout feature, machined from aircraft-quality billet. It boasts an extreme lightweight design, weighing just over 7 lbs each, and incorporates differential bore configurations with significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design further enhances performance and durability. This system includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design effectively mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing warping of the disc or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced to ensure optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, the slotted rotors in this kit are ideal for vehicles that experience more track use. Stainless steel brake lines are also included to prevent expansion under pressure.
