SuperComp Caliper Kit

This sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent pad performance through continuous cooling and surface refreshment during braking. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. Weighing just over 7 lbs, it features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. The caliper incorporates protection grooves for bridge tubes and comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the included stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure, ensuring a firm pedal feel. Each caliper uses four brake pads for optimal performance. The SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) and slotted (recommended for track use) rotor options. This specific kit is designed for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza, featuring 421mm slotted rotors.
