SuperComp Caliper Kit

This system integrates new brake technology that continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7 lbs each, is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It also includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems are equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and more efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled (for cooler operation, recommended for daily driving) and slotted (recommended for track use) rotor options. Ksport Big Brake kits generally fit 2WD vehicles unless otherwise specified. This particular kit, the BKDG101-951CO, is designed for the 2008-2009 Dodge Caliber SRT-4 model and is confirmed to fit 2WD vehicles only.
