The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7 lbs. It boasts larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity significantly over OEM systems, while the included stainless steel brake lines ensure a firm pedal by preventing expansion under pressure. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. Ksport utilizes unique slot designs on the rotors to reduce braking noise and more efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
