The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. This extreme brake upgrade features Ksport's SuperComp caliper, which is machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighs just over 7 lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, enhancing pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for durability and performance. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation) and slotted rotors (recommended for track use). Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for maximum performance.
