SuperComp Caliper Kit

This front brake system integrates an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard calipers, weighing just over 7lbs each and featuring built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines provide a firm pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads due to its substantial size. The kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc construction also mitigates thermal stress that can lead to disc warping or cupping. The rotors have a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For enhanced performance, all rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment. The product includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Options for Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic for extreme track conditions, are also available.
