SuperComp Caliper Kit

It utilizes advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad surface temperature during aggressive use. This kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is crafted from aircraft-quality billet. The caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp models, enhancing braking performance. It includes standard features such as aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design critically improves pad longevity and caliper stiffness over OEM systems, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. For the SuperComp series, four brake pads are standard per caliper due to their size. The SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design effectively mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer superior cooling for daily drivers, these slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time than daily use.
