SuperComp Caliper Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface under braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7lbs, is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability and performance. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more rapidly than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use.
