The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This advanced system integrates new brake technology to drastically reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling of the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight design forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design is crucial for improving pad wear and enhancing caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Cross-drilled rotors are also included and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler. This kit is specifically designed for the BMW 5 Series F10 models from 2011-2016, including the 528i, 528i xDrive, 535d, 535d xDrive, and 535i, equipped with N20 2.0L, N57 3.0L, or N55 3.0L engines.
