Its extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-grade billet, features a differential bore and oversized aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and rigidity over OEM designs. Standard on SuperComp systems is a 2-piece floating rotor assembly, which minimizes rotating and unsprung weight while preventing warping from extreme heat through its self-centering capability and unique slot design that reduces noise and expels debris. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking. It includes stainless steel brake pad wear plates, high-temperature seals, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The opposed piston caliper design further enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. Ksport offers customization options for brake calipers, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color finishes available. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), providing optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles, as they tend to run cooler.
