SuperComp Caliper with 2-Piece Floating Disc Assembly

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components within the caliper design are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while the stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs and reduces braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Due to the larger caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper.
