The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during use. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor actively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to ensure optimal performance. For vehicles prioritizing track use over daily driving, slotted rotors are recommended, while cross-drilled rotors, which run cooler, are suggested for daily drivers.
