The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This system integrates advanced brake technology to highly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling of the brake pad surface under braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is constructed from aircraft-quality billet, featuring a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also combats thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and more effectively expels gas and pad debris than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers rotor options including cross-drilled, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, and slotted, which are recommended for vehicles used more frequently on the track.
