Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface.

Featuring an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper machined from aircraft quality billet, this kit offers a differential bore configuration with larger aluminum pistons. The caliper includes high-temperature seals and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, with an opposed piston design for improved pad wear and rigidity. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure and a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce weight and prevent thermal stress warping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expel gas and debris.
Show original supplier description
The SuperComp caliper is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs, and is machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with larger aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals, along with stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to factory components. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent fluid expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause rotor warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that is optimized to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gases and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Ksport rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track use. Ksport USA is a leader in aftermarket suspension and performance parts, including coilovers, air suspension, and big brake kits.
