SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Big Brake Kit

The SuperComp caliper, a flagship component of this kit, is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs., and is precisely machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and durable stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and enhances caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system is equipped with 2-piece floating disc assemblies. These assemblies reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. The floating design effectively manages thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping of the braking surface. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to ensure peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler running temperatures, slotted rotors, like those in this kit, are recommended for vehicles with more track use than daily driving.
