SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Big Brake Kit

The kit's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is constructed from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger aluminum pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs. each and includes machined protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard components on this caliper design include high-temperature seals and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper layout enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while the included stainless steel brake lines ensure consistent performance by preventing expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems incorporate a 2-piece floating disc assembly that minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also effectively mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to cooler operation, slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
