The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, utilizing new brake technology to combat brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs, and is machined from aircraft-quality billet. It features a differential bore and substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, along with built-in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed-piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and to mitigate thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and expels gas and debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles.
