SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Billet Opposed Piston Caliper

Integrating advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and ensures consistent cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during operation. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, being extremely lightweight at just over 7lbs each, machined from aircraft quality billet, and featuring a differential bore configuration with substantially larger aluminum pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It also includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates as standard. The opposed piston caliper design inherently offers superior pad wear characteristics and increased caliper rigidity over OEM setups. The SuperComp systems come equipped with Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also effectively manages thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slotting pattern on the rotors further contributes to reduced braking noise while efficiently expelling gas and pad debris for optimal performance. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment for peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, these slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles with more track use.
