SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper

The centerpiece of this upgrade is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, crafted from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to the ProComp calipers, enhancing braking force. The caliper design also includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, and comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper architecture offers superior pad wear characteristics and increased caliper rigidity over OEM designs, complemented by stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design effectively mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and damage to the braking surface. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operating temperatures, the slotted rotors included in this kit are ideal for vehicles experiencing more track use.
