SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper

The Ksport SuperComp big brake kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. Designed with advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and continually cools the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper is extremely lightweight, weighing just over 7lbs, and is machined from aircraft-quality billet. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles, tend to run cooler than slotted ones, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The specific rotor size for this kit is 421mm (16.6 inches).
