SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper

At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, meticulously machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration equipped with significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, and features integrated protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity over the factory setup, while the stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure, ensuring a firm pedal feel. SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat, mitigating disc warping and braking surface cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to guarantee optimal performance. Slotted rotors, as featured in this kit, are recommended for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving, offering a balance between performance and noise reduction.
