The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, featuring advanced brake technology that significantly reduces brake fade and keeps brake pads cool under load. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7 lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, improving pad wear and caliper rigidity. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design further enhances rigidity and pad life compared to OEM systems. This kit utilizes 2-piece floating disc assemblies, which effectively reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from warping the disc or affecting the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are ideal for track use.
