SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper

The kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing braking force and control. It weighs just over 7 lbs and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, ensuring durability and consistent performance. The opposed piston caliper design also promotes more even pad wear and increases caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Further enhancing performance, the SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. The floating disc construction also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from causing disc warping or damaging the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment to guarantee optimal performance. Ksport recommends slotted rotors for vehicles experiencing more track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles for cooler operation.
