SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This advanced braking system utilizes new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, boasting a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. Meticulously machined from aircraft-quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 5 lbs. and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. For the ProComp series, four brake pads are standard per caliper to manage the larger size. SuperComp systems incorporate a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor efficiently reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to guarantee optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
