SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This kit incorporates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and actively cool the brake pad surfaces during demanding braking situations. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than ProComp calipers, enhancing braking performance and rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design also promotes improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also combats thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor actively reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation) and slotted rotors (recommended for track use). Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking feel.
