SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This advanced brake system incorporates cutting-edge technology to significantly reduce brake fade and actively cool the brake pads during aggressive braking. The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet and boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on these calipers include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. The SuperComp systems come equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also prevents thermal stresses from causing disc warpage or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For enhanced performance and durability, every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment. This specific kit includes cross-drilled rotors, which are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. The opposed piston caliper design enhances overall braking performance and longevity. Additionally, stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent brake feel.
