SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This advanced braking system utilizes new technology to reduce brake fade and maintain optimal pad temperature through continuous cooling and surface refreshment during braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is a standout component, machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs, and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. This opposed piston design not only improves pad wear but also increases caliper rigidity over OEM systems. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability. Complementing the caliper, the kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to better vehicle dynamics. The floating disc construction also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise while efficiently expelling gas and pad debris. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, or slotted rotors, preferred for more aggressive track use. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel.
