SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, weighing just over 7 lbs and machined from aircraft-quality billet. It boasts a differential bore configuration with pistons larger than Ksport's ProComp calipers, and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features across all calipers include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design dramatically improves pad wear and offers superior caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Additionally, the stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and braking surface cupping. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to ensure optimal performance. Ksport notes that while cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles that see more track time than daily driving.
