SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Caliper Kit

This kit integrates advanced brake technology, offering enhanced cooling and surface refreshment for the brake pads during intense braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is a highlight of this kit. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, it boasts an extreme lightweight construction, weighing just over 7 lbs. each, and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. To ensure durability and optimal performance, it includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design inherently improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, offering a more robust and responsive braking experience. This kit also features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which is crucial for reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design effectively manages thermal stresses generated by extreme heat, preventing disc warping and maintaining the integrity of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors actively reduces braking noise and expedites the expulsion of gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Each rotor is meticulously heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to guarantee peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors are noted for running cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, the slotted rotors in this kit are specifically recommended for vehicles that will experience more track use than daily driving.
