The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This kit is engineered with advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface under braking. At the heart of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which boasts a differential bore configuration and substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Meticulously machined from aircraft-quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 7 pounds and features integrated protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport's SuperComp systems incorporate a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses, preventing warping or cupping of the braking surface even under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and promotes faster expulsion of gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit includes cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles.
