Overview

It integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pads. This kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet, with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons.

The caliper includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stress warping.

By incorporating advanced brake technology, this kit effectively minimizes brake fade and ensures consistent cooling of the brake pad surfaces during aggressive use. At the heart of the kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to standard calipers. It features aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for durability and optimal performance. The opposed piston caliper design significantly boosts pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which contributes to reduced rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors efficiently expels gas and pad debris, and each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that experience more track use. This specific kit is designed for the BMW 5 Series 2010-2015 F10 models, including the 528 and 535 variants. It features 400mm slotted rotors and the SuperComp 8 Piston caliper.
