SuperComp Extreme Lightweight Opposed Piston Caliper Kit

These advanced systems incorporate new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling of the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, boasting a differential bore configuration and much larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. It is meticulously machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 7 lbs each, and incorporates integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to stock systems, while the included stainless steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing the disc from warping or the braking surface from cupping. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. For vehicles experiencing significant track use, slotted rotors are recommended, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers due to their cooler running characteristics.
