SuperComp Forged Big Brake Kit

This extreme front brake upgrade features lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, boasting differential bore configurations and larger pistons than standard calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing rotating and unsprung weight, and preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique rotor slot design minimizes noise and expels gas and debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit includes cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running characteristics. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with a fast warm-up time and reduced brake dust. Alternatively, carbon-metallic RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions, though not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperatures. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for straightforward installation and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response.
