SuperComp Forged Big Brake Kit

At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design optimizes pad wear and caliper rigidity, surpassing OEM standards, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines offer improved pedal feel and response by preventing expansion under pressure. Notably, the SuperComp calipers require four brake pads each due to their substantial size. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which contributes to reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design effectively mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors are distinguished by a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment for peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, slotted rotors are suggested for those prioritizing track performance. This made-to-order kit is non-refundable once ordered. Buyers can select between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise, or Ksport RC5 Race Pads, which offer maximum stopping power for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature requirements. Optional upgrades for center bells and caliper finishes are also available.
