SuperComp Forged Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than standard calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs. each and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles, or slotted rotors, recommended for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced brake dust and noise. For dedicated track use, an option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) is available, though these are not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperature range. The kit comes with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-up to OEM locations and includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. This product is made to order and typically has an estimated time of arrival (ETA) provided after the order is submitted to the supplier. Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. This kit is specifically designed for the BMW 6 Series F06/F12/F13 models from 2012-2018, including the 640i, 640i xDrive, 650i, and 650i xDrive variants equipped with N55 3.0L or N63 4.4L engines.
