SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to reduce fade and maintain optimal pad performance. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is extremely lightweight and features a differential bore with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It incorporates aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates, along with machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper in this series requires four brake pads. The 2-piece floating disc assembly included in the SuperComp system reduces both rotating and unsprung weight and mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to minimize braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that improve pedal feel and response.
