SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit

This kit features the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, ensuring massive stopping force. Each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes features like aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the included stainless-steel brake lines ensure consistent pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. For its larger size, the SuperComp caliper utilizes four brake pads per caliper. This system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The kit comes standard with cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation. Slotted rotors are available for vehicles prioritizing track use. The SuperComp kit includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer reduced brake dust and noise compared to race pads. For more extreme use, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an option, designed for optimal stopping power under extreme track conditions with higher operating temperatures (482°F – 1472°F), and are not recommended for street use. The kit also includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper locations, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and quicker response. The product is made to order and comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
