SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit

This advanced braking system significantly reduces brake fade and ensures consistent pad cooling and refreshment during operation. The caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is exceptionally lightweight and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to improved pedal feel and quicker response. Due to their substantial size, SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. The kit incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which lowers both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for street and occasional track use, operating optimally between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads and minimize noise and rotor wear. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F, and are not recommended for street use. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment with OEM locations.
