SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Brake Caliper

The SuperComp calipers are constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, feature a differential bore configuration, and house larger pistons for enhanced performance. These calipers are lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs each, and include machined protection grooves, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to their substantial size, the SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are standard and recommended for daily driven vehicles, offering cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused use. This specific kit includes 400mm x 36mm rotors and comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads optimized for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. An option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads is also available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response. This KSport Big Brake Kit is made to order, and therefore, is non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the order is placed.
