SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Caliper

This kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts larger pistons than their ProComp calipers, offering more power, and features an opposed piston design for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. This big brake kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor helps expel gas and pad debris more effectively and reduces braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance; the slotted design is recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily driving. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, operating effectively between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads also significantly reduce brake dust and rotor wear compared to race pads. For extreme track conditions, optional Ksport RC1 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available but not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperature of 482°F – 1472°F. Hardware includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fitment to OEM caliper bracket locations. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal feel and response. This kit is backed by a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
