The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Volkswagen B5 Passat. The SuperComp calipers are crafted from forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore design and larger pistons for superior performance. Each caliper houses aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates for durability and heat resistance. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors feature a unique slot design to minimize noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. The SuperComp systems come standard with 356x32mm rotors. Buyers can choose between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use with excellent dust reduction and quiet operation, or Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic for extreme track conditions with higher optimal operating temperatures. Customization options include a selection of caliper colors, with premium finishes like Lightning Silver, High Silver Polish, High Gold Polish, Titanium, Glassy finishes, and Hard Anodized Black available at an additional cost.
