SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Caliper Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit (BKVW270-836CO) is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Volkswagen CC. This advanced system utilizes new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during operation. At the core of this kit are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp series, contributing to massive stopping power. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The included stainless-steel braided brake lines ensure a firm pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use. Ksport SC5 Street Pads are standard, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature.
