SuperComp Forged Billet Aluminum Front Big Brake Kit

This kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and boasts a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than their ProComp models. The caliper's design includes machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, or slotted rotors, better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic and designed for street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions. This big brake kit is made to order, with estimated delivery times provided after order submission. Ksport offers a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. The kit is compatible with the BMW Z4 models from 2003-2008, including the 3.0i, 2.5i, 3.0si, and M (S54 3.2L) submodels. Note that Ksport Big Brake kits fit 2WD vehicles only unless otherwise stated.
